Samuel Irons Psychotherapy
Psychodynamic Therapy in London & Lewes

In person and online psychodynamic psychotherapy, based in London & Lewes
My goal as a therapist is to help you explore the emotional questions in your life so that you can understand, with greater clarity, why you feel like you do. My practice offers a non-judgemental and confidential setting where we can reflect on what has brought you to this point in your life, and consider your potential to live differently in the future.
I am an experienced psychodynamic psychotherapist based in London and Lewes, and I work with individuals going through a wide range of personal and emotional challenges. Through careful listening I help people to make sense of distressing feelings such as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem or relationship issues, and I'm also familiar with the pressures that come with being neurodivergent.
I appreciate that the process of finding a therapist can be difficult, and it’s completely normal to feel hesitant. You are welcome to arrange a complimentary fifteen minute zoom call with me to discuss what you need. I welcome enquiries, and am ready to help you decide whether psychotherapy could work for you.

Qualifications, training and experience
I am fully accredited by the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy), the UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy) and the BPC (British Psychoanalytic Council), and I adhere to the highest ethical and clinical practice standards. I am also a professional member of the Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling (FPC), and a member of the London Therapy Network.

I completed my advanced 5-year training in psychodynamic psychotherapy at the WPF and the British Psychotherapy Foundation, both leading training organisations with reputations for clinical excellence. Post-qualification I have worked in a wide range of settings, including the charity sector and community organisations as well as in private practice.
